My name is Ben (Benjamin) Nathan Peck, I was born in 1974 in Buffalo, NY. I lived in that area until I was 15, then my family relocated to Suffern, NY. After graduating HS there, I went to Ithaca College to study music (my main instruments were the tuba, bass guitar and guitar). My family moved to Nyack, NY while I was in college. I met my wife Erica during my senior year. After I graduated I spent two years exploring in music education, music sales and other odd jobs. After Erica graduated we moved to Maynard, MA where I turned my lifelong computer hobby into a career as a web developer. I worked for Monster.com for two years, and have been at Staples.com for the last seven years.

I live in Marlborough, Massachusetts, and try to spend as much time as I can with my two children. I have recently (in the last two years), changed my entire life by biking 3,000 miles per year and dropping 50 pounds. Through biking and my family’s involvement with our local Unitarian Universalist church, my family and I have become environmental, social and animal rights advocates.

I should probably cut back, but I love drinking fairly traded coffee and other caffeinated drinks. Check out my “healthness” category.

My current hobbies are computer stuff and technology, web development, system building, podcasting, digital photography, biking/exercise and family activities. I also enjoy movies (netflix) and television (over the air HD).
